I think that there's a more realistic explanation to this movie. Maddie was in an abusive household and wanted to run away from her life and got too caught up in the pink opaque and thought of it as an escape from her reality. She got fiction mixed up with reality and asked Owen the "Crashout Kid" to burry her underground (hence why she went missing) in belief that she could wake up from her life (only to actually die). Owen then goes on with life suppressing the memory and starts to imagine that Maddie came back and describes away her disappearance as her simply being away in some fairy tale comfort TV show for them. She then ironically explains to him exactly what happened to her and how she died (and how he may have participated in her disappearance), while losing his mind and starting to think he should have went with her instead of living his life trapped in his body instead of free to be who he wanted- as he believes Maddie is happier now that she "woke up from the false reality" but she is truly just dead.

Half Doc, half movie with chronicoligical plot. The Doc side represents accounts that occurred. The movie (albeit telegraphed) paves us a scripted plot via the Doc. I watched the movie to understand a perspective on a biker club that formed in the early '60's and how it devolved. Not for Hollywood's stylized plot twists and maneuvers. Oh, and by the way there was nothing that Benny could do to bring Johnny back and have the club back to its original state. It's better to have had his moment in the clubs sun than to never of had it at all. Everything changes, just look back at your life. Yeah, regrets may be plenty but the most we can hope for is to minimize our failures of now and tomorrow. Benny represents all of us, some way and some how.

A huge plot hole (among many) was that the bad apes had not found that ventilation shaft. The base was also still powered 300 yrs after it was ‘abandoned’. Mae seemed to know her way around the place to easily. The vault doors opened smoothly after 300 yrs of being shut. Unless sea levels have risen exponentially, the base was below sea level when it was flooded.

Durability: Soldier Boy by a lot. I mean A LOT. Brute Strength: Close, but Homelander. Speed: Homelander (In flight) Combat Prowess: Soldier Boy Experience: Soldier Boy Homelander's only advantages are his Heat Vision and Flight, which I don't think is enough to level with Soldier Boy. He can try to just fly and spam his heat vision but SB will just block it with his probably indestructible shield. HL's heat vision also does jack shit to SB. HL and Butcher's heat visions are equal, and SB took Butcher's heat vision to the face and it did absolutely nothing, didn't even cut his facial hair. Yes, this means Ryan has the strongest heat vision. HL knows he has to fight SB hand to hand if he wants a chance to even hurt him, but H2H combat is SB's territory. SB had military training, he is also referred to as a "Master Hand-to-Hand combatant" by the official wiki. Meanwhile, HL is lazy and hasn't trained or even worked out his entire life because no one can match him in strength so he just relies on his Heat Vision which requires no physical effort. HL is only very fast when flying, and doesn't apply to his general movements. I'll acknowledge the fact that HL was choking SB before Billy intervened in Herogasm but that's probably because SB is pretty rusty in combat, which is pretty evident since he doesn't fight like a Master H2H combatant does, we can see some glimpses of it but it's obvious that he's rusty. He also just came out of a blackout because of his blast. But if you really look at it, there is nothing HL can do to truly hurt SB. Some also say that HL can just throw SB or fly him to space, but that's assuming that he gets close to SB and SB just stands there and lets him do that. HL got his bell rung by a metal rod to his ear by Maeve, SB is definitely more than capable of hurting and even killing HL. HL's slight brute strength advantage is irrelevant against an opponent who is infinitely more trained and skilled. By the way, SB also has a very durable shield with a pointy edge which makes his strikes even deadlier. (I know this because he actually tried to bash Butcher with it, which means it can hurt Supes similar to Homelander) HL loses due to the huge difference in durability and combat prowess. If they're both at their bests, there can only be 2 outcomes if they do fight one-on-one, a stalemate, or a Solider Boy win.

Wasn't there members in his house at the end? Maybe Benny handled business with the dude that took out Johnny and then took over the club

When all your brothers are sitting in cars witnessing the shooting of a brother and the leader yes the answer is simple quit the club because there is no loyalty.

That's a good story if we'll watch as a separate thing. In reality Johny survived the shot, was active in the MC for some time, then he started another chapter and eventually left the club. I've seen photo of his "colors". He passed away in 2018, as far as I know. Benny became the book and movie main character only because the story was taken from his wife mostly... Katy passed away, as far as I know, not so long time ago. Benny is still alive and not active in the MC for a loooong time now. He contacted the movie crew and confirmed, that there is only one picture of him in the book - view from the back at the traffic light. It's not him at the main picture next to pool table. There are huge number of additional photos that were not included in the book for some reason. Many of them are avaliable in the Internet. Once again - movie is nice as a separate lovestory of Katy and Benny with the MC in the background.

I think this account of the film while insightful, but lacks the depth of the knowledge of real life events that inspired the film. If you stayed through the end credits you saw photos from the book by Danny Lyon that was the foundation of the movie. The movie took that book and “fictionalized” a timeline to make a “story” of the events. Obviously it is the “story” of the dominant 1% club in the Chicago area. There is no ambiguity or uncertainty in the ending because we know what happened with the club in its future. The “kid” with the bandana is a representation of the man who became the International President of that club. (RIP) Benny’s look at the end of the movie is one any rider identifies with. You don’t ever get motorcycle riding out of your blood. Once you’re bit by that bug you change. It’s in you. Kathy says everything is good, and Benny wants to be who he really is. A freedom loving bike rider. That’s the beauty of this film, it’s based in reality. These are representations of real people. It’s not a biker club movie, it’s a love story. Johnny’s love for the club he built. Kathy’s love for Benny. Benny’s love for being free in a way only riding a motorcycle can give you. It’s all so clear! I loved this movie.

I hated the ending. There’s no way Benny would not have avenged Johnny’s death. So the tough guy cries and runs off to Florida? 😂

The movie is all right, but studios must stop making prequels or meta-universes. The original "The Omen" is a legendary movie for those who grew up with it (and Damien's smile gave us nightmares). However, today's under-30 audiences need help to relate to the Omen series. Instead, "The First Omen" should be marketed as, I don't know, "Sister Margaret's Prophecy. The Chosen On.
